Maintaining Financial Records: This involves processing daily transactions, accounts payable and receivable, managing the general ledger, and ensuring accurate financial data entry.

Financial Reporting: You'll be responsible for preparing financial statements like balance sheets and income statements, often using accounting software.

Compliance: Keeping up with accounting regulations and tax laws is crucial. You may also be involved in preparing for audits.

Budgeting and Analysis: Assisting with creating budgets and analyzing financial data to identify trends and provide insights for better decision-making.

Reconciliation: Regularly reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.

Other Duties: Depending on the company size and structure, you might handle accounts payable/receivable processes, payroll tasks, or bookkeeping functions.


Accountant 

**Accounts Payable Processing:**

* Review and process supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness, verifying against purchase orders and receiving reports.
* Ensure proper coding and classification of invoices according to our chart of accounts.
* Perform calculations to ensure accurate invoice amounts and identify any discrepancies.

**Payment Processing and Management:**

* Schedule and process payments to vendors according to our established payment terms.
* Maintain and reconcile vendor accounts, ensuring accurate records and timely payments.
* Manage and track outstanding payables to ensure all invoices are accounted for and paid on time.

**Financial Reporting and Reconciliation:**

* Prepare reports on accounts payable activity and aging analysis.
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures for accounts payable.
* Reconcile bank statements to ensure all payments are recorded accurately.

**Vendor Communication :**

* Communicate effectively with vendors regarding invoices, payment inquiries, and any discrepancies.
* Maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure smooth business operations.


Accountant (Payables) 

Design, build, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations that meet business requirements and enhance decision-making processes.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and provide solutions that are both insightful and user-friendly.

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data presented in Tableau reports and dashboards.

Develop and maintain ETL processes using Apache Airflow to extract data from various sources, transform it as needed, and load it into our data systems for analysis.

Optimize ETL workflows for efficiency and reliability, ensuring data quality and timely availability for reporting and analytics.

Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and implement improvements to prevent future occurrences.
