2. You must have a bank account in Thailand with a minimum balance of 800,000 Thai Baht, or a pension deposit/monthly income deposit of 65,000 Thai Baht every month.

3. The Visa applicant must provide documentary proof of no criminal record in their home country and in Thailand.

4. The Visa applicant must have a passport with at least a year's validity, medical certificate, proof of residence in Thailand or a rent agreement, bank statements to show the required balance or monthly deposits, of the amounts as mentioned before.

5. When the applicant lands in Thailand, they can obtain a 90-day visa. Within the 90-day period, they must report to the Thai Immigration Bureau to convert their visa to a one-year Retirement Visa. This can then be annually renewed for as long as the applicant wishes to stay in Thailand.
